Have you accepted marketing as your lord and savior?
Hello, loyal reader.
Last month, I dedicated my life to marketing. The one true god of entrepreneurship.
Since then I did little to no coding on my car website (besides some basic website maintenance stuff).
Honestly, it left me kind of unsure of what to do all day. Instead of coding, I ended up writing about the things I wanted to code. Which I think is marginally better, but not exactly marketing.
My intentions started out pure by looking into some SEO opportunities (i.e., what were people searching for to reach my car website?).
However, it ended up with me concluding that I needed to code a cool new thing 🚩🚩🚩.
Oops, I did it again.
But at least I didn't actually code anything. That's progress 😌.
Okay, so how do I figure out if I really need to code something (based on my research) or I'm simply just procrasticoding?
It'll probably entail something I really don't want to do and would really suck 🤔...
Oh yeah, it's cold calling strangers to hear what they have to say on the topic 😞.
Then I (eventually) did that shit.
Conclusion
My brain literally only wants to do one thing and it's fucking disgusting (i.e., coding).
All my assumptions were wrong. The people I cold called either brushed me off or said they didn't have the problem I thought they did.
But then they went on to tell me their actual biggest problems 🤩.
Cold calling is awesome! Well not really, but it did get easier once I got going.
Now I'm trying to figure out how to apply my findings to my car website without jumping straight to coding.
As you can tell, I'm dangerously optimistic about it:
If you're interested in what happens next, I'll email it to you next month.
